An appealing alternative to having lunch on shore: the Mystic sampan takes you at lunchtime on the way to a Khmer pagoda hidden in the countryside on the other side of the Mekong.

Ideal if you are about to get away from Cần Thơ, as you can rendez-vous with your vehicle and shorten your road.

The classic meal is a selection of Mekong delta dishes, with a fish in clay pot, pumpkin flower fritters and more, all cooked with local produce.

The degustation meal takes you one step further from very classic dishes of the region, with a whiff of fusion, tuned to marry tastes, with pork au caramel, shrimp in mango sauce and more delicacies. You may like to get some wine!

A blessing ceremony, a tradition of Khmer Theravada Buddhism, involving chants, fruits as ceremony offering and tea. It is also an occasion to dialogue with the monks. Personal offerings at the guests' discretion.

Disembark with your guide after the visit and leave the boat for good; ride a bicycle for a stroll along Trà Ôn river. After a coffee break along the road and a visit to a garden, and loop back to Đồng Bình market.
